Wasserspiegelung (water reflection)
My interest in landscape as a subject for my artistic work arose from this painting. I "immersed" myself in the painting and studied every brushstroke. As a result, my art copy wasn't very spontaneous, but it was as close to the original as I managed to achieve.

CA Landscapes
The shapes and colors in landscape photographs from our stay in California (2012-2016) provided inspiration for painting. My goal was to dissolve the realistic forms and allow them to become independent structures. The beautiful motifs of Californian nature offer plenty of opportunities for this.
